UPDATE: After watching this video a 2nd time, it has become clear that this is some sort of a hoax see the comments section for details.
The ultra-reclusive Dain has done a video interview with Brooklynite Gallery. I had no idea this guy wasn’t the typical 20-30 year old hipster street artist.

Adam Neate‘s latest work, “The Concert Pianist,” is a finalist for the Country Life / LAPADA Object of the Year and is on display at this year’s The Olympia International Art and Antiques Fair. It will eventually be part of his solo show, “A New Understanding,” coming to Elms Lesters in October.

Any thoughts on Adam’s new use of photographs in the background?
Never heard of Limow before today, but I’m liking this elephant piece in Barcelona. Sort of reminds me of Sam3.

Who doesn’t like Slinkachu? He’s not the only one doing his style of street art, but I think he’s probably the best. June 4th is the opening of his latest show show at The Andipa Gallery in London.

Here are some videos previewing the Whole In The Wall show with Helenbeck Gallery in New York. Should be nice to see all these graffiti legends together in one show.
Besides street art, my passion is snowboarding. That’s why I love the latest Burton Vapor (their top of the line board). The graphics have been designed by Futura. Check them out below. While I’m not a huge fan of the bottom of this board (the image on the right), the top looks sweet. A bit out of my price range (kind of like an original Futura), but still, wow. Nice board.

Here are the highlights a few shows I haven’t properly covered here on Vandalog. One in New York, one in Germany, and one in Paris.
1. Herakut at Red Flagg in New York (Photos by Joe Russo):

2. Nunca at Galerie Le Fleuvre in Paris:

3. The Reinking Urban Art Collection at the Weserburg Museum in Bremen, Germany:

Time Bomb at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney is an interactive piece of graffiti. Film maker Lukasz Karluk (Holler) and artists KissKiss, DMOTE, Kid Zoom, Numskull, Ben Frost, Roach, John Doe, Bennet and Creon are involved in the work. What makes the project interactive, just watch the video to find out…

Just got these photos in my inbox. Some photos from Know Hope‘s upcoming show “the times wont save you (this rain smells of memory)” at the Carmichael Gallery in LA. I can’t wait to see more.
More photos after the jump… Continue reading “Teaser Photos from Know Hope in LA”
