Nimbus Vapor is a Ron English curated show at the Opera Gallery in New York. It opened last Thursday and includes some big names like Keith Haring, Basquiat, Banksy, Shepard Fairey and Logan Hicks. Plenty of pics can be seen on the show’s website.
Green Day meets street art
Green Day and Logan Hicks have teamed up to create a traveling street art exhibition which will be with Green Day on their world tour. Some of the artists involved include Logan Hicks (of course), M-City, Ron English, Broken Crow and Sixten. These artists have created pieces which are inspired by Green Day’s latest album, 21st Century Breakdown.
As a fan of Green Day (don’t lie, you know you like American Idiot as much as I do), I’m excited to see them bringing street art to a new group of fans. Here’s a sample of what will be in the exhibit:

Ron English at Elms Lesters
Went to Elms Lesters on Thursday for the opening of Ron English’s first UK solo show, and I was pretty impressed. Although I’m not as big of a Ron English fan as some people, there were definitely a few pieces that stood out for me.

Crazy Ron English Print
I’ve got a few bits of Ron English news today.
First of all, his crazy new print. It’s a lenticular silkscreen. I have no idea how this works, but it sounds cool. The image is his Abraham Obama design that he made for the election.

It’s Showtime

- Lazarides will be reopening their main London gallery in a new location on Rathbone Place on May 15th. Lazarides Rathbone place will start out with another “Outsiders” show.
