Right near Banksy’s recent piece in anticipating of the Queen’s Jubilee in North London, Shepard Fairey has just painted a piece. Fairey’s small mural (at least compared to the scale he’s used to working at these days) was organized as part of an effort by local residents working to revitalize the neighborhood and, like Banksy’s piece, is on Turnpike Lane in the borough of Haringey. The Guardian has more details as to how the piece came about, and Hooked has more photos.
