This e-mail surprised me as much as it did you. As a former resident of Washington DC, BORF is a legendary street artist. From his antics at art university to his infamous unmasking after he was caught tagging the large Constitution Highway sign outside the center of the capital, BORF was a name surely to stay on everyone’s radar. But keeping quiet for awhile, it is nice to hear his name resurface, especially for releases. He shows and sells such little work, that seeing new pieces is exciting for fans.
Available through Papermonster, the first is a series of “Cars on Fire” done in oil sick sized 22 x 30 in. The other is from the watercolor “X-Ray” series he showed in DC last year. Just an fyi, these are the final originals available from both series.
